LMS - External Security Features

LMS

We would love to be able to tie Security Roles to visibility on the LMS programs/courses/classes EXTERNALLY not just Internally.

This way we could have a "Volunteer Training" area that is FILLED with all kinds of training courses and from an internal administration perspective everything is categorized nicely and in one place for all volunteer training for the staff to update/administer the courses.

However, if we did that right now unless we made separate categories and pages externally that would be a nightmare for our volunteers to find the right course to sign up for their particular area of service.

If we were able to create automation via dataviews > Group Sync into security roles though then we could only show the relevant courses that the logged in user has permission to see and access based on their group membership in various rock groups.

Right now we accomplishing this by creating separate external pages and categories for our various courses so that we can isolate things, but it will get unwieldy in the long term if we keep this up.
